Hello Members, good news bad news time,
Good news should always come first, so you will be pleased to know we have 10 confirmed players for our Ibiza trip from the 24th to 28th April obviously 11 or more would be ideal so it is your last chance to get on tour, After March 30th this trip will be offered to non club players, so get your name down before we do. Please talk to Kevin or Geoff Evans.
Bad news is, it is annual subscription time. The payment became due on the 1st January, it is now March we request prompt payment to Niel McKinstry. It is a SACC rule that players who have paid subscription will be selected when available, chosen before non paid players. If you are selected but have not paid, then Match fees are 10 euros per game, plus 2 for tea's. Please be aware that this rule will be strictly enforced after this weekend.
Your website has an availability page, please use it, the Captain as enough to do without second guessing players wishes.
If when selected to play and find your circumstances change please inform your Captain so he can alter the team.
When pressing your selection to play or not please think about your team mates and insure you can stay for the full duration of the game, if selected as reserve please insure you can stay for the full match again this is part of being in a team a reserve is picked to give cover to players who might sustain an injury.
I realize this is a lot to take in but all the above is for the good of Sporting Alfas Cricket Club.
