Sporting Alfas Cricket Club

Hi All
We have all but finished the league challenge this season, for the 1st XI only September weekend of 22nd and 23rd against Alcorcon and Valencia left.
Most of you will know that it as been a difficult season and that the standard as been good, we can hold our heads high in the knowledge that we came 2nd in the T20 format and unless La Manga have a dreadful game we will also come 2nd in the ECCL Division 1.
The 2nd XI have 4 games left over the next few weeks. Congratulations on topping the T20 at the moment and looking like winning the
development league title again.

We have a massive commitment to our visiting English team´s and I would ask you to update your availability so we can pick teams that will,
A/ keep up our commitment to winning every game that comes our way  ;-)    but doing it with dignity,
B/ all the teams that travel to the Woodbridge Oval deserve to be treated as old friends, given a good game and entertained after the match.
C/ team captains need help on match days if you are selected then arrive early and help prepare the ground, we do not have any players who
are complete novices we all know what needs to be done and as the old saying goes many hands make light work.
D/ If you are able to play on any match day mark yourself as available it is not a rule that Saturday players cannot play in Sunday games or
visa versa. Teams need to be picked on the strength of the opponents.
