Fantastic game of cricket with our youngsters putting in a strong performance against a strong academy team from Scotland.

U13 bowlers restricted the Scottish to 96 off 20 overs, Kyle Roper 1 for 5 off4 overs, Jack Perman 2 for 17 off 4 overs with young Rubén and charlie both picking up a wicket.

In reply U13 got to a great start with a 42 open partnership until Rupert James was out to a good finishing on 22, Leo Laundon came to crease next and batted well scoring 22 falling 1 short of victory, opening bat Theo Rumistrzwewicz made the winning run batting through the innings scoring 28 not out, mature innings for an 11 year old.

U18 v STK Academy
STK 120 all out
U18 ECCL Spanish Cricket Academy 112 for 5 off 20 overs

Our U18 bowled well and took all their catches restricting the Scottish side to 120 off 20 overs. Great bowling from Theo and Charlie Rumisstrzwewicz and Leo Laundon all taking 3 Wkts.

Our batting got off to a poor start loosing 4 Wkts for 12 runs off first 8 overs but a Partnership of 87 runs between Kieran Perman and Ali Raza 16 helped the U18 wanting 19 off the last over with another big effort by Kieran falling 9 runs short with Kieran finishing 67 not out. Fantastic knock by Kieran of controlled shots all over the ground was the best innings I've witnessed by a Spanish junior.
