Sporting Alfas Cricket Club Won SACC play at La Marina for the first time

Match report La Marina invited SACC to send a team to help them begin the exciting life of a new Cricket club. La Marina asked SACC to bat and with many juniors in the side amassed 156 runs off the alloted 20 overs with all players getting a few, many thanks to the La Marina bowlers who claimed all 10 wkts with Bob. Norton claiming a couple of scalps against his own club. after a couple of beers and a bite to eat the SACC bowlers began the task of keeping the la Marina batsmen below 156. A great display and allowing all the lads a bowl SACC managed a comfortable win with the La Marina batsman all 15 of them getting a few and reaching 128 a good chase for a new side of mainly youngsters, We wish you well and hopefully you will enjoy a rematch against our colts at the Woodbridge Oval soon. Thanks to the ladies whome a club will never survive without.
