Sporting Alfas Cricket Club Lost San Fungencio 113 SACC 59.

Match report San Fungencio juniors visited Albir the home of SACC juniors and beat a depleted squad of 9 players. Batting first San Fungencio amassed 113 runs. 56 of which came from the bat of Adam who is a super young prospect in Spanish cricket. Michael struck 15 before retiring and a few extras gave the visitors a final score of 113.
Leo and Kyle opened the bowling for Alfas and with 16 years between them giving the older SFCC players a few scares. Kyle getting Ash LBW for 0. Adam continued knocking the ball to all corners as wickets fell around him. Leo bowling Jess. Kyle taking his 2nd wicket, Angus. New comer Lauren grabbing top scorer Adams wkt as he tried to score quickly before being asked to retire. Michael was also retired after scoring 15.
Alfas started well with Leo and Conner both looking comfortable before Conner fell for 3 attempting to spank a good one from Scot. Jamie(9) tried to dominate the SFCC bowling, bowled by Adam. Anton tried to get the score rate up and unluckily ran out Leo. Kyle fell first ball to Scot and Jack spanked one at Adam who confidently took a good catch Leaving to much to do for new comers to cricket Lauren and Jayden. SACC 59. Parents and members enjoyed another great experience at the Woodbridge Oval. Thanks extended to San Fungencio who have a great spirit and hopefully will become a force in local games.
