Sporting Alfas Cricket Club Won Crompton gives WHCC 2nd headache.

Match report West Hallam returned to the Woodbridge oval with another large and entertaining crew, 50 members all out to have a good time, a fantastic achievement for any club. Sadly the cricket on Saturday was effected by the Albir factor, Bowling first in the super September sun took its toll and the lads desperately tried to keep on top but although wickets fell steadily the run rate stayed high and SACC reached 242 with Crompton hitting a superb hundred and most of the lads reaching double figures. After a quick tea SACC bowlers found the right length and wickets fell at regular intervals only Fletcher and Barrow holding proceeding up whilst reaching 34 and 31. The SACC boys finishing of the match in the 33rd over, post match drinks and a good night followed. Thanks most go to West Hallam for being such an honest cricketing group and may we enjoy the company for many more tours.
