Hitting runs at a steady 3 an over La Manga pair Brook And Williams took the total to 38 before Jamie Roper got rewarded for his effort, Taylor catching Williams in the gully for 23. Joel Brook joined his father in the middle and the pair got to drinks without any problem. First ball after the break and Roper struck again bowling Brook senior for 13. 46 for 2 rapidly turned into 48 for 4 then 60 for 6 as spin twins Taylor and Crompton ripped out the middle order. 76 all out after 30.1 overs an easy day in the field for the local team. A ten minute turn around and tea scheduled for ten past four, Spencer and Pennick showed no mercy and as normal went about the bowling with a rapid fire 77 run partnership to see the home team to a pre tea victory and 20 well deserved points. La manga only receiving 1 point for reaching 75 runs.
