Match report Alfas 2nds won by 2 wickets in a match that should have been a stroll.
La Manga batted first & got off to a steady start against young Tyler & veteran Braithwaite.After 10 overs only 26 on the board.braithwaite took 2 wickets & La Manga were 47-2 after 16 overs.Enter Waqar who bowled superbly for 6-25 in 10 overs to get them all out for a below par 117.
Alfas started well with Ward & Mckinstry before ward retired hurt after a top edge onto the head.Abdul & then Kieron didn't trouble the scores to leave us at 64-4.Nix (26 ) & Tyler(23) both batted well but got themselves out.The injured Ward returned & nearly saw us home with top score of 31.With the scores level Waqar & Ben succumbed & it was left to kevin to hit the winning run with 8 overs to spare.
