Match report On a sunny afternoon the 1st X1 won the toss and elected to bat, the opening partnership scored runs at a steadyrate giving the team a chance of a high total,the score had reached 53 when Ali was dismissed for 21. Pennick entered the game and along with Spencer carried the total to 113,Spencer stumped for 66,
Howe came to the crease, and carried on with the inning in a consistant manner taking the total to 208, bowled in the 36 over, Now the game was ready for the big hitters and Faran joined Pennick in the middle but Pennick, after scoring 62, joined his other partners in the shed, Wasim joined the hard hitting Faran for a few minutes before allowing Mudassar the chance to watch Faran score 51 from the 3 final overs. total 259.
Valencia Green entered the arena facing a huge challange which lifted Asad he stayed at the crease for 4 overs and hit a formidable 50 whilst his partner watched in disbelieve,4.1 overs and Faran deservedly had his man cought behind with the score on 52, Paul taylor was tossed the ball and like better cricketers took to the task of bowling like a pro, claiming 5 for 22 of his 8 overs and realisticly ending the challange, he was helped in the wicket chase by Faran who´s figures of 2 for 54 did not reflect a rapid and unlucky spell of bowling, Muñoz bowled 6 tight overs, 1 for 39, and along with Mudassar 2 for 14 ended the game with Valencia Green well beaten by 96 runs.
