Match report Old Doms invited SACC to bat, Spencer and Laundon getting Alfas off to a good start reaching 71 before Laundon(38) was adjudged LBW. Muñoz joined Spencer and both carried on in good fashion before Spencer(53) played around a slower one from Birmingham league player Sam Moores, this gave Shipton a chance in the middle and he got a quick 35 with some fine shots before getting run out. Crompton joined the inform Muñoz at the crease and kindly gave hime the bulk of the batting as he got closer to his maiden 100. Great innings Christian may you get many more.. SACC 268 for 3.
Old Doms never really got going in reply to such a total with only Walsh(53) who batted right through getting any real credit, the SACC bowlers really got going with Lupson coming in at pace claiming D Moores in his second over. Muñoz at the other end came in with a swagger and claimed midweek hundred scorer S. Moores who only faced three balls, great days work from C Muñoz,
Paul Taylor took to the task with the ball with a relish many people half his age should have and returned the remarkable figures of 8 overs 1 wicket 1 run and the one coming with a dangerous single, Fantastic stuff Paul.
Skipper Laundon gave the ball to youngsters Metcalf and Brown both bowling well and grapping a wicket each. the total never looked under threat and Old Doms celerbrated 100 up with a delight in the 33 over. great day at the Woodbridge Oval,
