Match report Early season fixture in February sees the visit of Huncote CC who wins the toss and Bowls first , rain did interrupt the day for 20mins but the game was able to finish woth Climent and Parkin putting on 100 for the 2nd wicket and Ben Fletcher smashing 43 fown the order SACC managed a competitive 189 with all the Huncote bowlers being competitive and not too expensive.Huncotes chase begun badly with the loss of opener J Smith this was followed by a 50run partnership for the 2nd wicket against some tight bowling in 20overs putting the visitors on the back foot , with the introduction of Spin with young KArl and the not so young paul taylor taking 5wickets between then , Huncote just lost wickets at the wrong stage , Better luck tommorrow against the Sunday side.
